Postgraduate Research Funding Opportunities

Fee-waivers available for students embarking on one of the School of MLAL MA programmes:

MA in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies

MA in Irish-German Studies

MA in Modern Language Studies (French or Spanish)

MA in TESOL

Applications are invited from all prospective postgraduate students, including current undergraduate students due to graduate in 2017.

Applicants must include the following in their application:

1. A completed Postgraduate Studies Research Application Form (http://www.ul.ie/graduateschool/courses/arts-humanities-socialsciences).
2. Original transcripts for all third-level degrees.
3. Two academic references.
4. A 200-word letter outlining reasons for applying for an MA scholarship.
5. If you are currently in receipt of any funding awards supporting your studies, please give details stating the Awarding Body, amount and duration of the award.

As the expected date of commencement will be 1 September 2017, the closing date for receipt of applications is 3 pm, Friday, 26 May 2017.
