Dr Hope Davidson has conducted a series of interviews with legal professionals which will be released to the students over the next number of weeks. The aim is to give students a greater insight into the workings of each area of the profession and the legal academy. In the series Hope interviews the following people:
Majella Twomey BL who is a barrister practicing in the area of family and international protection law.
Aoife Hennessy is a partner in Sweeney McGann Solicitors and specialises in the area of commercial dispute resolution, employment law and medical negligence.
Judge Tom O’Donnell who is a judge of the Circuit Court and whose particular interests lie in criminal law, criminology and human rights.
Dr Jennifer Schweppe who is a Senior Lecturer in the Law School and whose principal research is in the area of hate crime and reproductive justice.
