The Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies is pleased to see that the revised Victims’ Charter was launched by Minister for Justice, Charlie Flanagan, on Friday, February 21st. The Centre facilitated a consultation on the revised Charter in 2019, preparing a report with recommendations for improvements for the final version.
This consultation was chaired by Professor Shane Kilcommins and co-ordinated by Dr Susan Leahy. Centre members, Dr Alan Cusack, Dr Norah Burns and Ms Blaithin O’Shea acted as rapporteurs for the consultation.
