UL School of Law PhD candidate Nada Balto recently presented the findings of her research at the Annual International Conference on Interdisciplinary Legal Studies held in St Anne’s College, University of Oxford. Nada’s paper was entitled ‘Al-Qisas: The Principle of Life for Life and Limb for Limb in Islamic Law’. Nada is currently completing her PhD under the supervision of Professor Shane Kilcommins and Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan.
