Six final year Law Plus students undertaking an Advanced Lawyering Project investigating the socio-economic rights of travellers made a presentation of their findings to a delegation from the North Tipperary Rural Travellers Association on Tuesday, 28th March. The students, whose project is entitled ‘The Traveller Community’s Socio-Economic Rights in Ireland: An investigation’, presented their research with a special focus on three rights – namely the right to health, education and housing – as they are enjoyed, or perhaps not enjoyed, by the Traveller Community in Ireland.
