The School of Law is happy to announce that a new book titled, 'The European Union, Policies, Perspectives and Politics' (Nova Science Publishers and edited by Dr Raluca Moldovan), has been sent to print. There are two chapters written by two of our academic staff.
Dr Laura Donnellan’s chapter uses the Cosmetics Regulation and its evolution as a lens to explore the EU’s response to animal welfare from the 1970s to present. The chapter is titled: Animal Welfare in the European Union: The Cosmetics Regulation.
Dr Ger Coffey’s chapter examines the common law principle of double jeopardy and its evolution in a European context. The chapter is titled: The European Ne Bis in Idem Principle.
