The work of Prof Shane Kilcommins and Dr Eimear Spain was referenced in an article exploring the impact of white collar crime on society published in the Sunday Business Post on Feb 28th. The cost of economic, corporate and regulatory crime was examined, as were the measures necessary to address crimes of this nature. Of particular interest were the introduction of sectoral fraud databases and adequate resourcing of key agencies such as the Office of the Director of Corporate Crime Bureau and the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau
