Strategic Human Rights Advisory Committee
On Friday 4th December, Shane Kilcommins made a presentation to the Strategic Human Rights Advisory Committee (SHRAC). SHRAC is chaired by the Garda Commissioner and is attended by bodies who have an interest in the area of Human Rights. This includes but is not limited to IHREC, GSOC, Policing Authority, Garda Inspectorate, Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. His presentation was on the development of a new microcredentials module on human rights and policing in Ireland which will be delivered by 11 staff in the School of Law to 500 senior members of An Garda Siochana.
