We are delighted to announce that the Irish Judicial Studies Journal, which is produced by a team in the School of Law at the University of Limerick, has received Scopus recognition after a successful review process and will now be included on the Scopus index.
Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database and inclusion in the database is a mark of quality in itself. Publications in the index are reviewed each year to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
Editor in Chief, Dr Laura Cahillane commented: ‘This is a wonderful achievement for the Journal and, as far as we are aware, this is the first time an Irish law journal has been included in the index. This recognition is due to the high quality articles published in the journal, the important review work carried out by my colleagues, the judicial advisors, and by external reviewers and the work completed by the editorial board in the review process.’
Congratulations to the entire team and all of the authors who publish in the journal.
