On Wednesday, 18th February, the School of Law was delighted to participate at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science’s International Post Graduate Information Evening. The School of Law was represented by two current international students Pengfei Yan from China who is currently studying for a Masters of Law in International Commercial Law and Sara Bjørndalen from Norway who is currently completing the LLM/MA in Human Rights in Criminal Justice. Sara and Pengfei were joined at the event by Professor Shane Kilcommins (Head, School of Law) and Dr Kathryn O’Sullivan (Chair of International Education, School of Law).
Among the attendees interested in finding out more information about post graduate study at the School of Law and, in particular, the opportunities for North American students to complete a Graduate Degree in Law in just two years, were Haley O’Brien and Alison Robertson (both from Pennsylvania, United States of America) who are currently enjoying a study abroad semester in Ireland at the University of Limerick.
