Eoin McGloin, a third year student is representing the School of Law at the Annual Justice Week Debate run by the Bar of Ireland on Wednesday 3rd of March (on MS Teams)
The motion for debate is: "This house believes that the right to offend, shock and disturb is necessary in a democratic society". It is being judged by Justice Seamus Noonan, Justice Maurice Collins, Justice Nuala Butler and Maura McNally SC, Chair of the Council of The Bar of Ireland
€1200 prize money will be awarded to the winning team (€300 per student). A link to the debate is attached herewith. It would be brilliant to cheer Eoin on in what promises to be a really high calibre event.
