Following almost five years of research effort, the Greentown Project secured €4.2 million to trial a new Irish intervention programme to reduce the influence of crime networks on children in local communities. At the cutting edge of practical youth justice research, REPPP will provide real-time scientific advice to two local programmes and will evaluate their performance. The Research Fellows leading this work are recently promoted Dr Catherine Naughton and our new colleague Dr Jane Mulcahy who recently completed her PhD in UCC.
