Professor Sean Redmond from the School of Law (pictured here with Dr Katherine Zappone Minister for Children and Youth Affairs) was requested to chair a conference in Croke Park on November 5th and 6th. The conference focussed on identifying practical scientific means to gauge whether state programmes targeted at vulnerable young people make a positive difference in their lives. Sean was the lead evaluator for the Value for Money and Policy Review of Targeted Youth Programmes published in 2014 https://www.dcya.gov.ie/documents/publications/20141223ValueforMoneyYouthProjects.pdf
