On 30 November, Dr Lydia Bracken was invited to present to the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), a Council of Europe body, to inform the development of a future General Policy Recommendation on LGBTI issues.
Lydia presented to the ECRI on her current research on LGBTI+ parent families and the legal issues facing such families in Ireland and Europe. Other speakers invited to present to the ECRI on this occasion were Professor Alina Tryfonidou (Neapolis University Pafos), Professor Robert Wintemute (King’s College London) and Dominique Boren and Daniel Martinovic (NELFA - Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations).
