Dr Lydia Bracken was invited to speak at a public consultation on donor-assisted human reproduction and surrogacy organised by LGBT Ireland on Sunday 21 October. Lydia outlined some of the most significant issues affecting LGBT parents and their families in these areas and proposed amendments to the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 and the General Scheme of the Assisted Human Reproduction Bill 2017 that are required to address these issues.
Lydia has produced a Briefing Document, Pathways to Parenting: Proposals for Reform, on behalf of LGBT Ireland that outlines the issues and proposals for reform discussed at the public consultation.
