Palliative Care as a Human Right
Dr John Lombard delivered an invited paper titled ‘Palliative Care as a Human Right’ at a recent conference organised by UCD and TCD. The ‘Medical Ethics and Law at the End of Life’ Conference was held on the 17th- 19th January. It brought together academics and practitioners from law, ethics, philosophy, and medicine. Keynote papers were delivered by Prof Mary Donnelly (UCC), Prof Peter Schaber (Zurich), and Sir Jonathan Montgomery (UCL).
