New Directions in Sexual Violence Scholarship Workshop Bristol
On May 16th, Dr Susan Leahy was invited to contribute to a one-day workshop, 'New Directions in Sexual Violence' which was held at the University of Bristol. The workshop involved contributions from leading researchers on sexual offences law and policy. Susan's presentation was entitled 'Reflecting Women’s Lived Experience of Rape within Relationships in the Irish Criminal Justice System' and focused on how Irish sexual offences law and policy can more appropriate respond to rape within intimate relationships. Susan received research funding from the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to attend this workshop.
