The School of Law was delighted to welcome the Full Time Commissioner of the Law Reform Commission, Ray Byrne, to Plassey House on Friday 27th February. Commissioner Byrne was formally welcomed to the University by his co-author, Vice President Academic and Registrar of the University, Professor Paul McCutcheon (pictured). Commissioner Byrne met with members of the School throughout the day and discussed the ways in which faculty members could engage with the work of the Commission. He ended the day by delivering a presentation to PhD students from the School on a recent publication of the Commission, Report on Harmful Communications and Digital Safety (LRC 116-2016).
