Law and Society Annual Conference
Dr John Lombard recently attended the Law and Society Association Annual Conference in Washington DC. Dr Lombard presented a paper titled ‘The Recognition of a Right to Palliative Care’ as part of a session on ‘Patients, Healthcare and Human Rights’. In addition, Dr Lombard contributed to a roundtable session on ‘Parental Rights, Best Interests and Significant Harms: A Comparative Perspective on Medical Decision-Making on Behalf of Children’. Participation in this conference was supported by AHSS Faculty Funding.
