On October 28 the School of Law and the Glucksman Library launched a special initiative to encourage local solicitors and barristers to become members of the University Library and make use of the Law Library facilities. There was a great turnout of local practitioners at an event held in the Popular Reading Room, Glucksman Library to launch the initiative. Dr Una Woods introduced the Honourable Mr. Justice Donald Binchy who delivered a paper on ‘Current Challenges Facing the Legal Profession’. This was followed by a presentation on digital legal resources and a Library orientation tour.
