The Irish Prison Psychology Service recently held their ‘Away Day’ in University of Limerick, courtesy of Prof. Shane Kilcommins and the School of Law.
Dr Emma Black, Head of Psychology commented as follows; ‘The experience of quite literally being ‘away’ from our of our own work space allowed for the freedom of thought and conversation that would not have happened otherwise. It allowed us to think about Criminal Justice issues within a Criminal Justice learning environment. The facilities are comfortable and extremely professional, up-to-date technology is provided and lunch is excellent’.
