International Student Support Workshops
On Wednesday last the Law School hosted the first in their series of three workshops for International students studying law with us. We were delighted to welcome students from France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Nigeria and the US for an introduction to the common law and the Irish legal system. Next week, Michelle Stevenson will take them through the skills needed to read and to write legal English, followed later in the semester with an exam preparation class from Norah Burns. These workshops are intended to offer a social and an academic support to our new international students and are so far proving very popular!
