On Tuesday the 18th of October Razan Ibraheem, journalist with Storyful spoke to students in the Media Law module. Razan spoke of her work with Storyful and her work on verifying video content from her native Syria for Storyful. She also discussed how Storyful acquires content and issues of licensing and copyright etc. Storyful specialises in discovering videos poised to go viral. They contact the uploader, verify the content and clear the rights for their clients to broadcast or publish. The talk was organised by Norah Burns and supported by the School of Law.
