Dr Lydia Bracken attended and presented at the Global Alliance for Justice Education 10th Worldwide Conference, which took place at Pasundan University, Bandung Indonesia from 4 to 10 December 2019. The Global Alliance for Justice Education works to promote justice through education and hosts regional and worldwide conferences to disseminate knowledge in this field.
Dr Bracken presented the initial findings of the ‘REAL Project’ (Reimagining Experiential Academic Learning) at the conference, alongside Siobhán Cullen and Bronagh Heverin of Letterkenny Institute of Technology. The REAL Project is funded under the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning’s ‘Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund.’ The focus of the project is to develop a model of experiential learning for law students in Ireland, which will be transferrable to other disciplines and countries.
