Congratulations to Gerry Greaney, LLM in International Commercial Law (Candidate), who has just published an article on the "The New European Patent with Unitary Effect" in the prestigious Business Law Journal. The article 
examines the new European Unified Patent and evaluates its effectiveness by comparing it to alternative patent options. It further assesses the expected impact on European and global business enterprise going forward. It evaluates where or not it is indeed the panacea for all EU wide innovation needs or, alternatively, is simply another tool in the kit of European politics, designed to widen national spheres of influence in the process of economic progress and development.
