On Tuesday 8th October, Dr Ger Coffey Course Director of the LLM/MA Human Rights in Criminal Justice and member of the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies delivered an invited seminar entitled “Fundamental Rights in Serious Crime Investigation: Victims, Defendants and Policing Perspectives” on the Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) course at the Garda College. The interactive seminar was delivered as part of a Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation course facilitated by Crime Investigation Training and the participants were Detective Inspectors involved in the investigation of serious crime.
