First Graduation Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation

 

The first students to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation  were conferred with their awards in a ceremony in Templemore on Thursday,  December 14th. Prof. Kilcommins and Dr. Spain represented the Law School on the day and were delighted to recognise the achievements of the students including the winners of the distinguished performance awards, Superintendent Fearghal Pattwell, Superintendent Kevin Daly and Superintendent Paul Cleary. This programme is delivered in the Garda College, Templemore and accredited by the University of Limerick and offered to senior officers within An Garda Síochána and other investigative bodies including GSOC and the Revenue Commissioners. The Postgraduate Diploma in Serious Crime Investigation programme is designed to develop the expert knowledge and leadership and management skills of individuals and to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to investigate serious crime in Ireland.
