The Law School is happy to announce that Dr. Eimear Spain has been appointed by the Minister for Health to the Psychologists Registration Board following her nomination by the Minister for Education and Skills. The Psychologists Registration Board at CORU has statutory responsibility for establishing and maintaining a Register of members of the profession; assessing, approving and monitoring training courses for the health and social care professions under the Act; and establishing the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and standards of performance to which psychologists must adhere. Dr. Spain's appointment is for a period of four years.
