Dr Susan Leahy Collaborates with Dublin Rape Crisis Centre
Dr Susan Leahy presented her research on attitudes to consent in Ireland at a webinair hosted by Dublin Rape Crisis Centre on Thursday, September 3rd. Her presentation outlined exisiting research on Irish societal attitudes to consent and the current gaps in knowledge in this area. Separately, the Irish Research Council also publicised Dr Leahy's on-going research on rape trials which is conducted in collaboration with Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and was funded by the Irish Research Council New Foundations Scheme. Dr Leahy interviewed 30 court accompaniment workers and legal professionals who work in rape trials. The results of this research will be published in the coming months.
