On Wednesday the 9th of November Dr Fergus Ryan of NUI Maynooth gave a talk to students in the Child Law module on Adoption. Dr Ryan gave a very informative talk on the historical perspectives on adoption, the transformative effect of adoption, the law as it currently stands and the Adoption (Amendment) Bill 2016. The talk was part of the AHSS Faculty Teaching Board and School of Law funded Child Law Seminar series organised by Norah Burns of the School of Law.
