Continuous Professional Development
Congratulations to Dr Ger Coffey (Course Director of the LLM/MA in Human Rights in Criminal Justice and member of the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies) on his recent graduation with a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCertTLHE) from University College Cork. The PGCertTLHE is designed to develop a research approach to teaching and student learning, and provides the pedagogical tools that enables university teachers to document and harness student learning. This is achieved through the research principles of a scholarship of teaching and learning approach (SoTL).
Ger is completing the follow-on Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGDipTLHE) at University College Cork in the current academic year.
