Polish Scientific Network
On the 15th of September, Laura Donnellan presented at the inaugural Conference of the Polish Scientific Network of Sports Law, composed of the Universities of Lublin, Gdansk and Bydgoszcz. The Conference was held at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). Laura’s paper focused on Mixed Martial Arts and Criminal Liability under the Non-Fatal Offences against the Person Act 1997. The Conference was titled: “Sporty walki-filzofia, organizacja, prawo” (Martial Arts-Philosophy, Organisation and Law). The Polish Scientific Network of Sports Law will soon be launching a journal, "Prawo sportowe" (Sports Law) with Laura as an English language editor.
