Co-Op Placements
Best of luck to our Law Plus and BA in Criminal Justice students who will embark on their co-operative work placements over the next few weeks. The students will spend the next 6-8 months working in an office environment to gain practical experience of the law outside of the classroom. These co-op placements are an integral part of the students’ legal education at UL and serve to enhance students’ legal proficiencies and employability. Employers participating in the co-op programme include Cork City Council, the Courts Service, Keating Connolly Sellors, ESB Networks, O’Connor O’Dea solicitors, LK Shields, Matheson, Baker Tilly Hughes Blake, GE Capital Aviation Services, Legal Aid Board, Holmes O'Malley Sexton, Ronan Daly Jermyn, William Fry, Brophy & Hills Solicitors, Leahy & Partners Solicitors, and Power Solicitors among others
