Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Award
The first Bail Supervision Scheme for young people in the state has been nominated for a Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Award 2019. This programme works with young people who would ordinarily be detained and focuses on improving their pro-social behaviour. Dr Sean Redmond from the School of Law led the design team for this programme while serving as an official in the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The awards night will be held in Dublin Castle on 19th November. Best of luck DCYA and Sean.
