The Cabbage Garden Girl
Shane Kilcommins recently took part in a radio documentary entitled 'The Cabbage Garden Girl'. It is a six-part documentary, produced by Tom Hurley, focusing on the story of Annie Connors from Duncummin, Emly whose body was found lying in a cabbage garden in 1928. The subsequent inquest deemed there to have been nothing suspicious about her death; however four months later, events took a dramatic turn when a suspect was arrested and charged with her murder. It is scheduled be broadcast on Tipp Mid West Radio at 6.30 pm over six consecutive Fridays beginning on October 9th until November 13th 2020.
