Bar of Ireland Information Evening

The Bar of Ireland will host an information evening at 6pm on Thursday 30th March 2017 in C1079. Two local barristers will speak about the process of qualifying as a barrister and will share some personal insights from their experience of life at the Bar. The barristers will also discuss the newly launched Denham Fellowship, which assists two aspiring barristers annually who come from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds to gain access to professional legal education at the Honorable Society of King’s Inns and professional practice at the Law Library. Applications for the Fellowships will close in April and the first two successful applicants will commence the barrister-at-law degree programme in October 2017. For more information see: https://www.lawlibrary.ie/The-Denham-Fellowship.aspx

This is a valuable opportunity to learn more about a career as a barrister and life at the Bar and to find out about financial and professional supports that are available to aspiring barristers.

All are welcome to attend.
