We would like to extend our congratulations to Alison Kelly (1st Year Law Plus) who was chosen to represent the ever growing 100minds fundraising organisation this year (www.100minds.org). This organisation selects the most prospective students in the country to raise a minimum of €1,000 each on behalf of chosen charities in just over 120 days. She is the only University of Limerick representative among this year's chosen candidates nationwide. This year the chosen charities are Blossom Ireland and Barnardos Children’s Charity - both extremely worthy recipients of this cause.
Alison is relishing the opportunity to partake in this fundrasing and is running a fundraising race night in Russells Bar on January 30th. On the night there will be a raffle including prizes such as a weekend away, hampers, vouchers, jewellery and more as well as an auction for a signed Munster Jersey so it is shaping up to be a successful evening.
Further information on the race night can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1519153121687245/
She would really appreciate all support for the event.
Well done Alison.
