The School of Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Ellen O’Malley Dunlop as an adjunct professor. Ellen has served as CEO for the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre for 9 years. In this role, she has become a highly respected advocate for the rights of victims of sexual violence in this jurisdiction. During her time as CEO of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Ellen has gained a wealth of experience in lobbying government, designing and commissioning research studies and overseeing and publicly presenting national publicity awareness campaigns about sexual violence, such as their highly successful recent #AskConsent campaign. Ellen has also published widely in newspapers about victims’ rights and appears regularly on radio and television broadcasts on this topic.
