Welcome to the Student Health Centre

Telephone - 061 202 534

The Student Health Centre is located in block C, level M (room CM061) in the main building and provides a service for University of Limerick registered students only.

A reduced number of clinics will run throughout the summer for postgraduate and medical students.  Undergraduate students must revert back to their own GPs unless the issue refers to an internal UL matter e.g. repeat exams, Erasmus exemptions etc.

The Student Health Centre Reception/Administration Office opening hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00:-12:30 and 14:00-16:30 and Friday 09:00-12:30.

Appointments can be made by either telephoning or by calling in to the Student Health Centre Administration Office.

The Student Health Centre is an acute care/advisory service, it is not a GP service. All students are therefore advised to register with a local GP.

Alternatively students can attend Dr Ronan Ryder, Old Windmill Medical Centre, Lower Gerald Griffin St., Limerick, Tel: 061 313 919. Students will be offered a reduced rate of €30 at Dr Ryder's surgery and medical card holders will be seen for free.  An out of hours service is also available at this clinic.
