The new Editorial Board of the King’s Inns Law Review (KILR) now invites submissions from undergraduate and postgraduate law students as well as practitioners and legal professionals for its tenth volume.
The Review publishes a diverse range of articles on a variety of topical legal issues that critically analyse existing and nascent areas of law, offer insight on contentious points and aim to substantively contribute to legal scholarship by offering fresh ideas and perspectives.
Deadline for submissions is Friday 15 February 2021.
For this special 10-year anniversary volume, a prize of €500 will be awarded to the best article submitted.
While we accept articles on all areas of Irish, European, and International Law, we particularly welcome submissions related to this year’s theme of ‘The Irish Administrative State’.

Submissions of articles, case-notes and commentaries on areas of law with reference to Irish and/or European or International Law will be considered for publication and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Prizes will be awarded to submissions of particular legal significance.
- Articles must be between 5,000 and 12,000 words (incl. footnotes)
- Case-notes and commentaries must be between 3,000 and 6,000 words
- Submissions should incl. some reference to Irish, European or International Law
- All submissions conform to the OSCOLA Ireland Referencing Format and be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
