The International Network for Hate Studies biennial conference was held at the University of Limerick in May 2016. This conference addresses such issues as racisms, homophobia, transphobia and disablism, manifestations and means of redress. Delegates include academics, policy makers, practitioners and activists.
"This is the first book to examine the impact of globalization on our understanding of hate speech and hate crime. It provides international perspectives on hate crime through a range of interdisciplinary chapters, with contributions from scholars, researchers, policy makers, and practitioners. It also seeks to better understand the ways in which hate is spread between countries, including via the internet, as well as the methods that could combat this."
